African Library Project Success!

Thank you to everyone who donated gently used books for our African Library Project. We were able to not only meet, but EXCEED our goal of 1,000 books for our sister school in Botswana. They will use these books to start a school library. Thank you all!

Volleyball Game

On February 8. 2010  parents at Caleb’s Creek took on the staff in a fun for all volleyball game.  The best two out of three matches determined the winner.  Although the teachers were tough and played well, the parents won two of the matches therefore becoming the winners.  Staff took it well but of course wants a rematch.  Stay tuned for more to come…..hit

Mrs. Kidds' class Skyped with author Mike Artell to ask:(Why authors write books?) He told us that he writes books to entertain and teach us things. He shared some of his books with us and read one called: Petite Rouge ( A Cajun Red Riding Hood)to the children in a Louisiana accent. He also showed us how he draws and illustrates stories how he colors and shades them in. The children were excited to get the chance to ask questions to a real author. We had a great experience and the children enjoyed the opportunity.
